1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the Vidari iOS app (“the app”) published by Melrakki AB, org.nr 559576-4480, Gothenburg, Sweden (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the app you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the app. Apple’s standard End User License Agreement also applies to apps downloaded from the App Store; where the two conflict, these terms apply between you and us.
2. What Vidari is
Vidari is a self-help companion for people who want to stop using nicotine. It offers journeys for quitting smoking, snus and nicotine pouches, vaping, or nicotine in general, with or without nicotine-replacement products. It provides daily educational content, a Reset tool for urges, a reading library, milestones and a dashboard that calculates money and time based on the numbers you enter.
The app works on your device. It has no account and no Vidari server, and it makes no network requests of its own; the only network activity is Apple’s own handling of a purchase or a restore, and any source link you choose to open in Safari. See the Privacy Policy.
3. Not medical advice
Vidari is a wellbeing and education tool. It is not a medical device, and its content is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. It does not replace a doctor, nurse, pharmacist or a stop-nicotine service. The journeys that mention nicotine-replacement products assume you have chosen such a product together with a health professional; the app does not recommend products, brands or doses. Calculations shown in the app (money, time, milestones) are estimates based on your own input and general assumptions, not measurements of your health.
Always ask a health professional before changing anything about medication or nicotine-replacement use, and if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have a health condition.
4. Emergencies
The app is not an emergency service and cannot summon help. If you have chest pain, difficulty breathing, thoughts of harming yourself or any other urgent situation, call your local emergency number immediately (112 in Sweden and the EU, 911 in the U.S.).
5. Age
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vidari. The app is meant for adults who use nicotine and want to stop; it is not directed at anyone under 18.
6. Your licence to use the app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute or sell the app or its content, or use the content to build a competing product. The app, its design, text, illustrations and code are owned by Melrakki AB or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. The name Vidari and its logo are our marks.
6a. Vidari Plus (optional purchase)
Vidari’s ongoing program — the daily Insight, every tool, all of Learn, coaching along the journey and more than one journey at a time — is a subscription called Vidari Plus. Without an active subscription the app continues in a limited mode that keeps everything you have built and everything you need on a bad day: your journeys, the counter, progress and milestones, milestone reminders, slip logging, restarting and changing your quit date, safety content, the slips and support collections, the cravings and slips tools, Settings and every look. Nothing you have logged is deleted or hidden. Safety information is never behind the subscription.
Plus is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store, offered on a yearly or a monthly period. The price, the period and any introductory offer or free trial are shown by the App Store for your country before you confirm the purchase; that display is what applies. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends. Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid period when it ends unless you cancel before then, and an unused part of a trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings; uninstalling the app does not cancel it. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. If a purchase is refunded or revoked, the app returns to the limited mode; everything you have logged stays exactly as it is.
7. Your data
Everything you enter in the app is stored on your device only, apart from the purchase information described in the Privacy Policy if you buy Plus. You are responsible for your device, its passcode and any backups. Deleting the app deletes its data; we cannot restore it. We do not receive, store or process your app data and therefore have no obligations regarding it beyond what the Privacy Policy describes.
8. Acceptable use
Use the app for its intended purpose and in a lawful way. Do not attempt to extract or scrape its content, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that could harm you or others.
9. Changes to the app and to these terms
We may update, change or discontinue the app or parts of its content at any time. We may also update these terms. The current version is always at https://melrakki.se/vidari/terms with its effective date. If a change is significant, we will point it out in the App Store release notes. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
10. No warranty
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that its content will produce any particular result, including that you will stop using nicotine. Results depend on you.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Melrakki AB is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss arising from reliance on the app’s content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including mandatory consumer-protection rights in Sweden and the EU. If you are a consumer, you keep all rights granted by the laws of the country where you live.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may end the licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections 3, 4, 6, 10, 11 and 13 survive termination.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes are resolved by the Swedish courts, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring a claim in the courts of your home country or to use the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN, arn.se) or the EU online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/odr). We prefer to solve any problem directly, so please write to us first.

1. Vad villkoren gäller
Dessa villkor gäller för iOS-appen Vidari (“appen”) som ges ut av Melrakki AB, org.nr 559576-4480, Göteborg, Sverige (“vi”, “oss”). Genom att installera eller använda appen godtar du villkoren. Om du inte godtar dem, använd inte appen. Apples standardavtal för slutanvändare gäller också för appar som laddas ned från App Store; om de två strider mot varandra gäller dessa villkor mellan dig och oss.
2. Vad Vidari är
Vidari är ett självhjälpsverktyg för dig som vill sluta använda nikotin. Appen erbjuder resor för att sluta röka, sluta med snus och nikotinpåsar, sluta vejpa eller sluta med nikotin i allmänhet, med eller utan nikotinläkemedel. Den ger dagligt utbildande innehåll, ett Reset-verktyg för sug, ett läsbibliotek, milstolpar och en hemskärm som räknar ut pengar och tid utifrån de siffror du anger.
Appen fungerar på din enhet. Den har inget konto och ingen Vidari-server, och gör inga egna nätverksanrop; den enda nätverkstrafiken är Apples egen hantering av ett köp eller en återställning, samt källänkar som du själv väljer att öppna i Safari. Se integritetspolicyn.
3. Inte medicinsk rådgivning
Vidari är ett verktyg för välmående och utbildning. Appen är inte en medicinteknisk produkt, och innehållet är inte medicinsk rådgivning, diagnos eller behandling. Den ersätter inte läkare, sjuksköterska, apotek eller Sluta-röka-linjen. De resor som nämner nikotinläkemedel utgår från att du har valt en sådan produkt tillsammans med vårdpersonal; appen rekommenderar inga produkter, märken eller doser. Beräkningar som visas i appen (pengar, tid, milstolpar) är uppskattningar utifrån dina egna uppgifter och allmänna antaganden, inte mätningar av din hälsa.
Rådgör alltid med vårdpersonal innan du ändrar något kring nikotinläkemedel eller andra läkemedel, och om du är gravid, ammar eller har ett hälsotillstånd.
4. Nödsituationer
Appen är inte en larmtjänst och kan inte kalla på hjälp. Vid bröstsmärta, andningssvårigheter, tankar på att skada dig själv eller någon annan akut situation, ring omedelbart ditt lokala nödnummer (112 i Sverige och EU).
5. Ålder
Du måste vara minst 18 år för att använda Vidari. Appen är avsedd för vuxna som använder nikotin och vill sluta; den riktar sig inte till någon under 18 år.
6. Din licens att använda appen
Vi ger dig en personlig, icke-exklusiv och icke-överlåtbar licens att installera och använda appen på Apple-enheter som du äger eller kontrollerar, i enlighet med App Stores regler. Du får inte kopiera, ändra, dekompilera, sprida vidare eller sälja appen eller dess innehåll, eller använda innehållet för att bygga en konkurrerande produkt. Appen, dess design, texter, illustrationer och kod ägs av Melrakki AB eller dess licensgivare och skyddas av upphovsrätt och annan immaterialrätt. Namnet Vidari och logotypen är våra kännetecken.
6a. Vidari Plus (frivilligt köp)
Vidaris löpande program — den dagliga insikten, alla verktyg, hela Lär dig, coachning längs resan och fler resor samtidigt — är en prenumeration som heter Vidari Plus. Utan aktiv prenumeration fortsätter appen i ett begränsat läge som behåller allt du byggt upp och allt du behöver en dålig dag: dina resor, räknaren, framsteg och milstolpar, milstolpspåminnelser, loggning av snedsteg, att börja om och ändra stoppdatum, säkerhetsinnehåll, samlingarna om snedsteg och stöd, verktygen för sug och snedsteg, inställningarna och alla utseenden. Ingenting du loggat raderas eller döljs. Säkerhetsinformation ligger aldrig bakom prenumerationen.
Plus säljs som en prenumeration via App Store som förnyas automatiskt, per år eller per månad. Priset, perioden och ett eventuellt introduktionserbjudande eller gratis provperiod visas av App Store för ditt land innan du bekräftar köpet; det som visas där är det som gäller. Betalningen dras från ditt Apple-konto när du bekräftar köpet. En prenumeration förnyas automatiskt med samma period och pris om du inte avslutar den senast 24 timmar före periodens slut; förnyelsen debiteras inom 24 timmar innan perioden tar slut. Erbjuds en gratis provperiod övergår den till en betald period när den tar slut om du inte avslutar innan dess, och en outnyttjad del av en provperiod går förlorad när du köper en prenumeration. Hantera eller avsluta prenumerationen i inställningarna för ditt Apple-konto; att avinstallera appen avslutar den inte. Återbetalningar hanteras av Apple enligt Apples villkor. Återbetalas eller återkallas ett köp återgår appen till det begränsade läget; allt du har loggat ligger kvar precis som det är.
7. Din data
Allt du anger i appen lagras enbart på din enhet, förutom den köpinformation som beskrivs i integritetspolicyn om du köper Plus. Du ansvarar för din enhet, dess kod och eventuella säkerhetskopior. Raderar du appen raderas dess data; vi kan inte återställa den. Vi tar inte emot, lagrar eller behandlar din appdata och har därför inga skyldigheter kring den utöver vad integritetspolicyn beskriver.
8. Tillåten användning
Använd appen för dess avsedda syfte och på ett lagligt sätt. Försök inte extrahera eller skrapa dess innehåll, störa dess funktion eller använda den på ett sätt som kan skada dig själv eller andra.
9. Ändringar i appen och i villkoren
Vi kan när som helst uppdatera, ändra eller avveckla appen eller delar av dess innehåll. Vi kan också uppdatera dessa villkor. Den gällande versionen finns alltid på https://melrakki.se/vidari/terms med sitt ikraftträdandedatum. Om en ändring är väsentlig påpekar vi det i versionsinformationen i App Store. Fortsätter du använda appen efter en ändring godtar du de uppdaterade villkoren.
10. Ingen garanti
Appen tillhandahålls “i befintligt skick” och “i mån av tillgång”. I den utsträckning lagen tillåter lovar vi inte att den är felfri eller oavbruten, eller att innehållet ger något visst resultat, inklusive att du slutar med nikotin. Resultatet beror på dig.
11. Ansvarsbegränsning
I den utsträckning tillämplig lag tillåter ansvarar Melrakki AB inte för indirekta skador eller följdskador, förlust av data, eller skada som beror på att du förlitat dig på appens innehåll. Inget i dessa villkor begränsar ansvar som inte kan begränsas enligt lag, inklusive tvingande konsumentskyddsregler i Sverige och EU. Är du konsument behåller du alla rättigheter som lagen i det land där du bor ger dig.
12. Uppsägning
Du kan sluta använda appen när som helst genom att radera den. Vi kan avsluta licensen om du väsentligt bryter mot villkoren. Avsnitten 3, 4, 6, 10, 11 och 13 fortsätter att gälla efter uppsägning.
13. Tillämplig lag och tvister
Svensk lag gäller för dessa villkor. Tvister avgörs av svensk domstol, utan att det påverkar din rätt som konsument att väcka talan i domstol i ditt hemland eller att vända dig till Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN, arn.se) eller EU:s plattform för tvistlösning online (ec.europa.eu/odr). Vi vill helst lösa problem direkt, så skriv gärna till oss först.
